K is for Karma

"Live by the sword, die by the sword"

"What goes around comes back around"

Definition of Karma (one I found): "Your actions have consequences, Karma is the invisible power that balances the universe. You created your destiny. Your fate is sealed and you can’t escape from karma. Your thoughts and actions are powerful. You deserve everything that happens to you, good or bad. You create your happiness and your misery. Your world today is just a reflection of your past. What you do today will mirror your future. Your actions create your future.

It is intention that creates karma. You can hide your intentions from others but not from yourself or the universe. The universe wants you to understand the suffering of others. The more you judge people the more you will be judged.

There are no “other people”. We are all one. When you laugh or mock someone you are mocking and laughing at yourself. When you harm another, you are harming yourself. The law of karma helps you to become a better person. Being kind to others is the same as being kind to yourself. Karma treats everyone equally. If you ever harmed anyone, ask them for forgiveness. Their forgiveness will dissolve any bad karma and turn it into good karma. Your guilt will disappear.

At just the right moment, you will receive your karma. The effects of karma are sometimes immediate and in other cases there is a delay. There will always be an effect, no matter how long the delay. It is impossible to escape your karma."

Now, my question is : do You believe in Karma ?

Personally, I don't know if I should believe in Karma. One part of me believe in it because some partS of what they say are true and sound right, as an example, I agree with them when they say that we shouldn't seek for revenge, it attracts negativity or being judgmental is what make us being judged etc.. but another part of me doesn't believe in it and doesn't want to because to my mind, to believe in karma would be to think that every bad thing that happens to a person is deserved but then what about the sick children? All those young children and baby that are sick or have an incurable disease? All these that are born with disease? Did they deserve(d) pain like that? What have they done to deserve it? Since they're just children?

Life lesson : For every action there will always be a reaction so be careful and before doing something, put yourself on someone else shoes and ask yourself if you'd have liked to be treated the way you wanted to treat that person. Because what goes around comes back around and karma is a b**tch sometimes.
